1. Formation of the Contract:

A binding contract for the booked services is established upon receipt of the booking confirmation and full payment of the associated invoice.

1.1. Scope of the Contract:

The subject of the contract includes the services described on our website (www.doghillhuskys). Any additional requests require written inquiry. These requests will only become part of the contract if confirmed in writing by Doghillhuskys.

1.2. Prices and Payment Terms:

The applicable prices for our services are displayed on our website (www.doghillhuskys.fi). Prices are subject to change. Unless otherwise stated, all prices are per person in Euros (€). A booking is valid only after full payment of the invoice.

2. External Links:

Doghillhuskys does not accept liability for the content of external links. The content of linked websites is the sole responsibility of their respective operators.

3. Program Changes:

Our programs are outdoorbased and take place in various weather and snow conditions. However, if adverse weather or force majeure prevents the proper execution of the program, or if the safety of the dogs or participants is at risk, an alternative program will be offered.

4. Cancellation and Refunds:

Weekly Tours:

Cancellation up to 30 days before the start of the tour: Full refund with a €250 booking fee deducted.
Cancellation less than 30 days before the start of the tour: No refund.

Day Tours:

Cancellation 7 days or less before the start of the tour: No refund
Cancellation 30 days or less before the start of the tour: 50% refund from the invoice price.
Cancellation up to 31 days before the start ot the tour: 90% refund from the invoice price.

No Show:

In case of no show without prior cancellation: No refund.

We also recommend purchasing travel insurance. This protects you against unexpected events, such as illness or other unforeseen circumstances, that may prevent your participation in the tour.

5. Animals:

All animals involved in our programs are trained as thoroughly as possible for our activities and are cared for in compliance with current Finnish legislation and animal welfare standards. However, animal behavior can never be entirely predictable. To minimize risks, it is essential to strictly follow all safety and provided instructions.

6. Liability:

Doghillhuskys is not liable for any damages or disadvantages not caused by negligence or intent on our part or that of our assistants. This includes, but is not limited to:

Damages caused by force majeure
Adverse weather conditions, including insufficient snow for normal operations, which do not constitute grounds for cancellation. In such cases, an alternative program will be offered.
Negligence or fault on the part of the guest before or during the tour
Unforeseeable or unavoidable omissions by third parties involved in the performance of contractually agreed services

If the instructions of Doghillhuskys or their assistants are not followed, we assume no liability.

Doghillhuskys holds a General Third Party Liability Insurance of LocalTapiola Group (Lähitapiola).

However, the guest is independently responsible for obtaining sufficient health and accident insurance (including coverage for sports accidents). Despite the expert and safe execution of activities, accidents involving persons and/or property damage cannot be excluded. Doghillhuskys assumes no liability in the event of an accident. Participation in the activities is at the guest’s own risk.

7. Responsibilities of the Guest:

The guest is under contract to follow the instructions given by the staff of Doghillhuskys, particularly regarding the venues, gear, animals, and equipment. The guest is also responsible for adhering to the timetable of the program. If the guest neglects this duty, Doghillhuskys reserves the right to charge for any expenses incurred as a result of this neglect. Guests must treat Doghillhuskys dogs with care and respect. All instructions and guidelines provided by Doghillhuskys must be followed at all times.

Language Requirements:

Language used for guiding and during all services is English, French, Finnisch or German if not otherwise stated or agreed.

The guest must be able to follow instructions in either EnglishFrench, Finnisch or German. If the guest is unable to understand these languages, they may be excluded from the tour without a refund.

Health-related Restrictions:

If a guest is unable to follow the instructions due to health reasons, they may be excluded from the tour without a refund.

Age and Pregnancy Restrictions:

For safety reasons, pregnant women and children under the age of 4 are not allowed to participate in our tours

8. Photos and Videos:

Doghillhuskys reserves the right to use any photograph or video taken during tours or programs organized by Doghillhuskys without the expressed written or oral permission of those included in the photograph or video. Doghillhuskys may use the photograph/video in publications or other media material produced, used, or contracted by Doghillhuskys, including but not limited to: brochures, invitations, books, newspapers, magazines, television, websites, etc.

Any person wishing to opt out of having their photo taken or distributed must contact us in writing at catherine@doghillhuskys.fi clearly stating their intentions.

Any person or organization not affiliated with Doghillhuskys may not use, copy, alter, or modify Doghillhuskys photographs, graphics, videos, or other similar reproductions or recordings without the advance written permission of Doghillhuskys.

Any photos or videos used by third parties, such as travel agencies, must be marked with “Doghillhuskys.”

9. Drone Usage Policy:

The use of drones is strictly prohibited during all huskyactivities and throughout your stay with Doghillhuskys. This policy is in compliance with Finnish law, as drone operations are subject to strict regulations.

Additionally, drone usage could disrupt wildlife, violate the tranquility of the natural environment, and disturb other visitors. For these reasons, we enforce a zero-tolerance policy for drone operations during our tours.

By booking with Doghillhuskys, you agree to respect this policy to help preserve the pristine nature of the area and ensure compliance with Finnish regulations

10. Governing Law:

All legal relationships between the guest and Doghillhuskys are subject to Finnish law. The relevant legal provisions apply.

Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy informs users about the nature, scope, and purpose of the collection and use of personal data by the organizers of Doghillhuskys. We take your privacy seriously and handle all personal data with the utmost care and in accordance with applicable legal standards.

However, we cannot guarantee complete security of data transmission over the internet. In particular, there is a risk of third-party access when transmitting data via email. The use of contact details published in the legal notice by third parties for advertising purposes is expressly prohibited.
